With more than 40 years of hospitality experience, Roger Bloss is one of the industry’s leading innovators and entrepreneurs. After serving in executive positions with several major hotel franchise companies, he founded Vantage Hospitality Group in 1996 and acquired the company’s first hotel.
Under his leadership, the Americas Best Value Inn brand became the fastest growing hotel chain in the industry and Vantage grew to over 1,100 properties, becoming a top 10 global hotel company.
Today, Bloss continues to drive change to the hospitality and cannabis landscape as CEO of MJ Holdings, and CEO of Alternative Hospitality, a division of MJ Holdings, Inc.
MJ Holdings, Inc. is a diversified holding company providing services to the regulated cannabis industry. Through its subsidiaries it provides cultivation, production, management services, and complete turn-key infrastructure and construction services, including greenhouse design, sales and installation.
Through a joint venture with MJ Holdings, Inc. and the Coachillin' Holdings, LLC, Bloss has developed Coachill Inn Resort, the first structured cannabis wellness, education and exploration hospitality offering. The upper-midscale lodging and wellness experience will embrace the responsible education and enjoyment of cannabis products through locally inspired touches; warm, passionate service; and contemporary, thoughtful design.
